What can a friend say about Dale Meddock that has not already been said. There is an abundance of memories and far too many to mention them all at this time. What a coach and a teacher! I would think that all of his gymnastic achievements' have already been told, like State Championships, Section and WPIAL Championships and the list goes on and on. He was so outstanding as a Gymnastic coach that many schools chose to drop the sport because they could not compete with Dale Meddock and the Ambridge Gymnastic program, or should we say a Dynasty.
To end my tribute to Dale, it has been an honor and a privilege to have coached with him but most importantly he is a true friend. He's a Coach, Teacher, Husband and a Father or might I just say "A class act". May God Bless you and your Family and may the future hold the same blessing as did your past.

Thank you for posting your tribute! Until I got involved with the planning of our "Guy's Night Out", I was not aware that Coach Meddock had had Joe Espey and Scott Knechtel as assistant gymnastic coaches. I always thought he was the only coach. Did you also assist him in gymnastics? Thanks again for your tribute.
